I took these earlier this month. It was quiet and rather large (first time I saw it in person). My wife had to point it out to me as it was about to fly directly over us.

It was flying really low the first time I saw it. It almost looked like it had a semi-blue pearl paint added to the black coating. I thought they were all black. It could have been the moisture or an illusion.

Here are the pics. It was flying significantly higher when we took these and my car was in motion.

It really is. It is very impressive in person. I wish I could have taken a shot when it looked like it was passing 600 ft directly over us.

 

They are out of Whitman AFB in MO. When I would drive to Kansas City after September 11th they would fly right over head. VERY creepy at 6 in the morning.

 

Should have taken a video. Pictures are nice though.

 

I didn't even think about taking video. I will next time (if there is a next time).

That same B-2 will probably fly over the Rose Parade Jan 1st. I'm thinking about driving over there just for the fly-over.

This plane looked awesome flying over the Rose Bowl... goosebumps.

 

Such an amazing plane.

 

Its nicknamed the ghost over here, I so love this plane it would be a dream just to see one in person some day.
