In honor of Hernando's post, I wanted to post my favorite seaplane.
I flew to Atlantis a while back on one of the Chalk's Airlines ones.
I loved it. I'd refurbish it completely though, and refit it to a more VIP look for personal use, like this one.

Oh WOW beautiful. I love this plane as well. Also more of a reality, and would also be my first choice. The DO-24 would be for a collection.
I would constantly fly this to the Islands. What a great plane. jimmy Buffet has one.
Correction, I believe that Jimmy Buffet had an Albatross, which was the plane the Chalk's originally used.
