The Dornier DO-24, the most amazing seaplane I have ever seen. Iren Dornier refurbished an old plane that his grand father built, and put on the PT-6 engines. He flew it around the world, as a fund raiser for UNICEF. I saw it at Oshkosh a few years ago. It's one of my dreams to one day own this plane or refurbish one. That is an amazing looking plane.

 

Observation hole. The plane was used as a transport and rescue plane by the British Royal Navy.
