Thanks! Will keep my eyes on this thread in hopes to find something that can make me throw all my smart thoughts out the window and drive to Italy...
(Have an important ski contest in Budapest the next day and 850km in a car the day before usually is not the best thing to do as a warm up...
)

And would you say that on the whole the guests were impressed or disappointed with what they saw?

From what I am hearing guests were happy with the car and pre-orders are coming in full speed ahead.
Jon, contest is always in the first place, but LP700-4 is really stunning from what I am hearing and I would go to see it still.
Still waiting for more impressions.

From information I got the car and the event is worth to go Jon.
I am waiting for more impressions from buds of mine who are at the presentation today. Also I am waiting for trax and AndrewCH to share their impressions as well, if they will say car is a stunner, than it is a stunner.

Loved the car, it really is a nice modern fresh replacement for the Murci. Preferred the matt white/black wheels colour combo we saw on the new production line to the show car's matt yellow. The new shade of Arancio is a bit too OTT in my view but each to their own. It needs ligh shades, even matt, to make the most of all the creases and shapes. The interior is now good for tall people, with supportive seats at last. The stats, people have already said a lot on here, so I can't add to that. But the stiffer car, with inboard suspension, signals Lamborghini's intent as to how this car will drive. It is really nice looking through the slats of the engine cover to see the springs and Ohlins dampers (single rate). Importantly, something like 80% of torque is available from around 2500rpm.
Options and delivery dates still unclear. Mine will be matt white with black shiny wheels, dealer thinks it will come in July, but who knows, we are trying to firm this up.

What is up with Lamborghini and these matte colors? Matte ruins cars, and makes a brand new car look after market straight from the factory.
I can't wait to see it, and I hope they do a good job on this.
Andrew, are you allowed to give any details on how it looks?

Agreed, and should anyone want to try the matte look, why not use stickers for 1/20th of the factory paint price. And once you're bored with it (and you will), you can peel it off and your paint would look brand new as the sticker also double-functions as a protection film.
