I am very interested to own a Lamborghini & an Aston beside my 599. I like the outside look of the DBS so much but re-sale value is so bad. The LP640 is due to change next year or so although its a masterpiece in terms of look. For the LP560, it looks nice, perform well but do not know about the image!

DBS is the best looking car made today, however in spirit I think it is quite similar to your 599. The lp560 might be a better complement to your 599, its a little smaller. To be honest in terms of driving pleasure they are all road biased fairly heavy cars, and similar in this respect. I think there is the risk that you will find both suggestions a step down from the 599... when exactly are you going to be truly excited to chose a dbs or lp560 when the 599 is available?

Why not something completely different for a second car ... gumpert apollo? caparo T1? a car which will make your 599 feel slow, soft and too luxurious?

or pool the money together for a hypercar... zonda, koenigsegg, bugatti, enzo etc...

 

If I had a 599 I'd get a Scuderia/Stradale or a GT3RS

I agree with everything that has been said so far in this thread, although I'm a sucker for the DBS it would probably be too much of a subsitute of your 599 rather than a complement.

GT2 or Vantage V12 RS perhaps?

 

And odds are the DBS won't compare all that well to the 599 ...

I'd get a DBS instead of the 599, and go the LP640 route (either "normal" LP640 or rumoured LP640 SV)

 

Go for the LP560 and don't even blink an eye!
