I guess the argument would be that this is the "base" version so the lower weight / trick aero.. etc. may be coming in the future. But honestly the superleggara variants haven't been much more extreme than the base version as compared to the difference between say a 458 and a speciale. However, I think the driving experience will be there, and at the end of the day no one can feel an extra .2 seconds to 60. Lambo's are never gonna be the highest tech and fastest lap times they are more into the emotional appeal and outlandish styling.

I totally agree here. And I think it's a mistake to expect new models to deliver more and more power. I'm convinced that cars like the new Lambo or a 458 are pretty close to their peak in horsepower, which I personally think is a good thing. These cars now feature 600hp...ten years ago these cars had 400-500hp. So, what we'll experience in the future with these supercars (not hypercars) is refinement rather than more power. These cars will lose weight, they will use less fuel, they will be easier to drive fast, they will have more grip and braking performance, they will have better ergonomics and clever aerodynamics.

Is the red center-console switch supposed to represent the nuclear option??

Now this would look beautiful in matte black, though I think I'd prefer the glass trunk cover better.

It looks like a baby aventador mated with the old Gallardo. Pretty cool nonetheless.

It looks very good to me. New design elements and the rear engine cover are amazing. I would prefer it of course in half glass and half carbon.

Nice!
