LP560-4 Noctis Spotted In Mumbai

The avid spotters over at Autogespot always seem to find rare and limited edition autos running around, and this spot by a reader of theirs in Mumbai is no exception.

Seen here is the limited edition Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 Noctis, which is Latin for 'night' and features special paintwork. While the Gallardo may seem rather played out by now, this one does look pretty darn good, though a cleaner look without the 'Superleggera' style side livery would look better in my opinion.

Lambocars note the LP560-4 Noctis was offered in Blu Fontis, a very dark metallic blue shade, or the gray metallic Grigio Lynx. The windshield pillars, roof frame get finished in silver, and extend all the way to the rear, while the roof itself is covered in a deep black color called Nero Noctis.

Thank you for mentioning me DJ, indeed the Noctis was shown in July 2012 ... before the Paris Motor Show ... initially the dark blue shade looked like this:

So still the old styling and no rear wing nor stripe on the door, I also have photos on the dark grey version ... and this one has the original LP560-4 styling too ... so I think this Mumbai Gallardo Noctis has been modified by the owner.

Note the red Lamborghini script at the rear on these 'spots' ... now that looks really out of place.

 

The Noctis Edition provides only 2 colors - Blu Fontus and Grigio Lynx, anyway I didn't know that they released it with Nuova Gallardo.. Please..

 

New paint job = new limited edition??

And they say Porsche is milking the 911 range pff.

 

So is the "newest" bumper a direct replacement for the lp570 bumper? If that's what they did, they should have left the lp570 bumper. Best one for a Gallardo

 

In fact the 'newest' bumper is a replacement for the LP560-4 bumpers, not the LP570-4 Superleggera unit.
