Official: The Lamborghini Veneno has arrived

I think you'll find he's with the majority on this one. And me. The car is just a pimped out Aventador without any of the class that the donor car has. It's price is ludicrous and only goes to show how good the Ferrari and McLaren are. Lamborghini should be focusing on a new Gallardo rather than creating daft theatre...

Look all their own, but personely it is fantastic. Least Lamborghini isn't playing it say. They wanted to do something out there and thats inexactly what they did. Who cares that its a glorified Aventador. They did the same thing with the Reventon and people loved it. As for the price, yes $3 million is a bit steep but who cares, spending 1.2m on a bugatti that looks out dated is outrageous but you dont see be people complaining. And as for the new Gallardo, who is to say they not focusing on that. Lamborghini are pretty good with keep things secret. Hell no one had a clue about the Veneno.....
Chris is close minded, if it isn't a porsche or a maclaren, to him everything else is not even considered competition.

Chris Harris just wants to be banned by another Italian moniker...
For folks who follow and understand the world of Motorsport, the Veneno is an outrageously authentic 1:1 interpretation for a street legal Le Mans endurance race car w over the top F1 aero & trim.
I geek out just looking at all the detailed shots.
But I totally understand folks who can't appreciate that aspect of Motorsport, especially outside of Europe where it doesn't get prime time, it must all look alien and stupid, a lot like I feel when I watch American football. But hopefully the buyers who bought these are avid gear heads who appreciate and/or are from that world of Motorsport.
Love it or hate it, no one can argue that it's going to command unparalleled road presence.

Very true Alwin, on all accounts.
On top of which a bunch have people have said that it's a Aventador with an outrageous bodykit. well actually if you look at the two side by side the only thing that they have in common exterior wise is the monocoque. Other than that every panel seems to be different. So in reality they are quite different and well worth the money. too bad they probably will never be driven on the street or track.

Interesting to watch the Chris Harris vid. Respect to the man for saying what he thinks aout the Veneno. He has the right to his own opinion and the right to express it.
Personally I still like the Veneno, as I said before it's Lamborghini being Lamorghini and long may it continue.

Everybody has an opinion on the new Lamborghini Veneno ... some good, some bad ... some love it while others hate it to death ... and that's is just what a Lamborghini is all about ... extremes, and you can't deny the Veneno is an extreme car.
Anyway, they don't even care if some people don't like it ... they only build three of these, and they are all sold ... that's good business I guess.
As for the Gallardo replacement ... it will blow the competition completely out of the water when it arrives ... and it will again be totally different compared to anything else on that market segment, again we'll see people loving it ... and other people hating it ... and still it will sell in large numbers ... why ? Because it is a Lamborghini.
Made a myself, hope you like it.
