For paint protection, we specialize in both custom and precut applications depending on the needs / budget of our customers. On this Aventador, we applied ClearGuardX via custom application (bulk clear bra material) so the film edges can be tucked and hidden wherever possible. For those not in our area, keep one thing in mind. Custom or precut, it takes years and years to become just ok at installations, so take experience (# of years) as the factor for your decision and avoid making the mistake of going with the cheapest installer. GENERALLY speaking, the cheaper companies are not as experienced...

 

Here is a shot of Spectra PhotoSync in 65% installed to the front windows. Very classy, not dark at all, yet it blocks out more heat than ceramic tint, and does not affect wireless signals

 

Whoever owns that car must be wanting some attention. YIKES!!!!

Product aside, installation of clear paint protection film is the key component to obtaining excellent results. We do receive questions about custom and precut applications. There is much more flexibility in custom clear bra installations to both maximize coverage and minimize seams. With precut kits, this flexibility is minimal. Precut applications will take less time to install; thus, reducing the price of an install.

Experience is truly the key here. Even for precut applications, it will take many years to become good...for custom installations, the experience criteria is even more critical.

This customer was quite particular about seams, so every panel was installed via custom installation. Seams were minimal and the front bumper was done in one piece compared to most precut kits for the Aventador bumper would run anywhere from 5-10 pieces...that's for the bumper alone!
