i liked certain features. The 02-05 murci did nothing for me at all, i was disappointed but the styling cues and interior. the LP640 did alot more but it was worth it to see the company more or less back on track!

So just got back a couple hours ago from the last unveiling and figured I would chime in with some of the things that were mentioned.
One of the key things they mentioned was that they didn't want any sacrifice when it came to the roadster compared to the coupe. If i recall correctly the weight difference is a mere 50kg. That being said it does 0-100kph (0-62) in 3 seconds flat, and the top speed remains the same as the coupe at 217mph. As many have seen the roof is a two piece composite with each have weighing 6kg (about 13 pounds). Compared the the Murcielago Roadster (which to this day I still have no idea how to put on by myself), the top can be assembled and and taken apart in probably around a minute flat. It stows away comfortable and securely into the front boot lid.
A couple of things that I realized is there seems to be a bit more headroom inside the cockpit compared to the coupe (this is obviously with the roof on). They also had a new wheel setup on the roadster which was 20" up front and 21" in the rear. To my understanding it will be available in a couple of differing shades. Lamborghini also seems to be offering an option for carbon fiber for the entire engine bay trim...looked pretty sweet if I may say so.
All in all I think they have done a great job with this car, especially when compared to the last generation Roadster. Doesn't seem like there was much compromise, and they say they were able to keep body stiffness on par to aluminum sports cars that are available in the market today. The US market is a priority market in terms of delivery time, and orders were available as of yesterday with expectations of delivery in June/July.
