Lamborghini Recalling 2004-2006 Gallardo Over Fire Risk
Faulty power-steering lines the cause for concern

Lamborghini is recalling 1,491 Gallardo Coupes and Spyders from 2004-2006, stating a problem with the steering system could result in a potential fire. "In certain driving conditions, the high-pressure steering pipes near the steering assistance hydraulic system pump might leak," the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has reported.

The potential leak is located at the front of the car and Lamborghini notes, "Leaking fluid, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire."

The car-maker added that it is not aware of any fires or accidents related to this. If you own a Gallardo from the model years 2004-2006 give your dealer a call today and set up an appointment.
