One of the best colors for a Murci, for sure!

Congrats the car looks so clean!

That is probably the best looking color combination ever on the Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster ... with the classic Hercules wheels I'm sure she will look even better, especially in the darker finish you are getting.

Personally I would like a bit more orange inside, but the orange stitching is already a very nice detail ... we had a great looking LP640 over here, the owner sold it ... and the new owner did this to it :

I just wanted to show it so you know yours looks so much better with the original glossy black parts.

Wow, that is quite a modification. We had a local client who did a color change of an 05 Roadster from black to white and the body shop painted the mirrors, windscreen frame, and panels in front of the wing vents in the same way that the car you showed is. I agree with you, it doesn't help the car! It makes them look much taller with everything the same color.

I do love the titanium wheels on the orange car though.

I can imagine that 'full' white dress didn't go too well with it either.

To make things even worse for this orange lady ... she started out her life like this :

After the owner traded her in for a stunning looking Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder the dealer had her wrapped :

Both look way better than the orange re-spray ... which cost a small fortune I was told.

As for the mat black wrap, I actually like it, but personally would have left the window frame, mirrors and side air intakes in glossy black, just to have some contrast.

Even better would be turning her into this :

I made the above one myself ... in 1/18, sadly it isn't a real car, but the idea would be tempting no ?

Well done that man - Sales Director for Lambo ATL and driving about in one of the brands he sells. That would put a lot of confidence in many a buyer IMO.

Big question is, are you going to DD it?

I appreciate it. I love the cars that Lamborghini has put out recently and the directions that they are headed in. This is a great brand and there are some great owners to relate to and drive with. I was not sure whether or not I would be able to daily drive this one. I certainly have no objection to practicality issues, getting the car dirty, rough weather, or difficult parking which tend to be the obstacles to daily driving exotics but the top is the wild card with this one. After about 500 miles in it I am realizing how compromising it can be.

The car leaks badly in rain whether parked or in motion. That makes it very difficult to use when the weather gets bad and annoying to have to dry out once you get to where you are going. I will probably drive it pretty much whenever the weather is good though.

It has rained every day this week in Atlanta but I did get the Titanium Hercules Wheels installed yesterday. I think they came out great and I love the more aggressive look on the car. I took a couple of pictures under our service drive so forgive the poor lighting and ridiculous Instagram filters to try to make them look ok. Hopefully the weather will clear up this weekend so we can snap some better pictures and take the roof back off.

It looks good mate. I've always loved the roadster but being in London it's not an option with the roof.

You should consider a Carbon fibre hardtop - seen a few decent ones about...

Drive the thing - they get better for it as i'm sure you know. I'm about to hit 10k after 12 months!

She looks really great with these wheels installed ... a totally different, more aggressive look.

Will you be color coding the brake calipers to orange too ?
