From R8 to R8 to LP
The opportunity to modify and enjoy one of Lamborghini's newest and most charismatic creations is exactly what motivates each person that works at IND, and we are a very fortunate group indeed to have surrounded ourselves by fellow enthusiasts like Tommy, the owner of this LP 550-2.
Tommy is a great breed of exotic owner, one who does not buy exotic cars as a means of displaying affluence, sex appeal, or any other secondary motivation. Tommy's passion for exotic cars stems from a much simpler love of these amazing machines.
Although Tommy has had an Audi R8 V8 and an Audi R8 V10 in recent years, this Gallardo LP550-2 is the most focused of the trio. The rear wheel drive Gallardo's light weight and uncompromising driving experience reminds us of more pure supercars of the 1970s and 1980s before driving aids and refinement entered the picture.
Tommy immediately chose to improve the Gallardo's sound by adding an exhaust system by LOC. IND took this Gallardo to our friends at AMS performance for a baseline dyno test on their DynoJet dynamometer last week before performing the exhaust install at our facility. Our resident videographer from UnsceneMedia captured the sights and sounds on video, while our own Johan helped with photography. Enjoy!

Looks great!! Would love to hear about some of the driving impressions of the RWD on the Gallardo. I know the 550-2 has been popular as of late but haven't heard much feeback on the feel and responsiveness of the handling when compared to the AWD system
