Mansory Aventador Geneva 2012
#75
To be honest, as much as I was looking for my aventador to be tuned, and as much as I love the quality mansory provides, I just do not like how it turned out. Matter of taste I guess, but so far this car does little for me. What I mean is since December I have about 250km on the odometer. I do not like driving it for some reason, but I will keep it regardless. I dd my Stallone, and this car is just my favourite ever. I pick it over the aventador every day when I go to the garage, I think that says something? I am surprised with myself to be honest, it is just that the car has nothing of thi murcie I loved so much, and everything of the gallardo I never even remotely liked.
On the whole argument: I guess before you see a mansory car in person and spend some time with it you will never understand how much it is an improvement over the base car in terms of quality and attention to detail. As far as looks go, the same point I made a while ago: imagine you live somewhere where everyone drives a 458 or a Lamborghini, would you not want to be different? (just think of the iPhone, and different covers. It is just the same) some designs are out there, true, but some are not (think Aston and Mclaren).
anyway, haters gonna hate. And this whole debate about aesthetics is pointless to start with. I for example do not like the 458 and the 599 replacement at all, but some people go gaga over them just because it is Ferrari and some really like it regardless of brand. Imagine for a second the v12 berlinetta was not a F car but some othe brand, would u like it as much? I think they did a bad job and fail to impress like they should. Those cars should blow your mind away like the aventador did, and they just don't (in terms of looks), but specs wise I already said it a few times, I have not driven a bettere car then a 458 yet.

You right, but its sad too see beautiful cars, ruined for the taste of the owners.
Basically "If you dont liked, make it better" right?!
