oooook, so the car is finally here. went for a very very short drive since i have to get customs clearance first to obtain temp plates.
i do not want to post low res pictures of a car sitting in a poorly illuminated garage, so hope to update on friday with a proper writeup and shoot as promised. on top of that the battery in my murcie died (again... this is the only issue i have with all of my cars, and they are not reaaly easy to jump start, especially with the engine against the wall. this occurs on a monthly basis. i always forget to cut the battery) so i have to recharge her as well.
lots of things to say already, but i will wait till friday. so far, a bit underwhelmed. i am not talking about the spectacular performance of cource, but the feel overall. stallone is still my favourite, but the comparaison is not fair, you cant measure a fully customised tailor made car to a stock one (my 599 is a better fit for my persoonality and really hard to beat in terms of overall ownership experience. i remember a while ago a guy i met, an enzo owner, totally blown away by how much more a custom car brings to the table when he saw it, and a 599 gto owner, who just stayed glued to my car, and many others. p.s. hope they stop by the forum someday, great guys).
oh and before i post my full impressions i will say, so far i see that this car has absoluteley nothing to do with the murcie, dunno if it is a good thing. maybe i am just getting older (<30) and have a hard time moving on to newer things? time will tell.

i was just on my way to F, for 599 maintenace. the handbreak is letting go, and suspension is strangely rigid as if the adaptive suspention was off(the service and suspension lights are also flashing).
was a nice day today, but had to spend ALL day with my cars. first recovered the murcie after the battery replacement, then took (finally!!!) the aventador for a spin and to a car wash, the car was delivered very dirty, and had the plates installed, then took the 599 for maintenace, and finally recovered the A and took it for a drive around town!!! lol, what a day.
now will work on writing my impressions.
