I was in Dallas this weekend for a buddy's wedding and had the car serviced at Boardwalk Lambo (new pads, oil and filter, alignment, and Corsa tires installed! woohoo!).

While at the dealer I was surprised to learn they were sponsoring a cruise that weekend. So my buddies and I got together and joined them. Here are some pics and a few videos we took along the way.

i love how you can buy an 04 gallardo, slap on a 560 front, carbon rear diffuser, fixed wing + wheels, and you've got a car that looks as good as a brand new 570 superleggera (referring to the yellow one)

and who shows up to a Lambo meet in a 370z and vette? out of place much?

 

Your sat nav didn't tell you that the shortest way from a to b was to take the 75 till you get to the 30?

Those were my friends. They were acting as camera cars which was very cool of them to do for us.

We were planning to go karting that day as part of the bachelor party activities that weekend, but when we found out about the cruise, it became a surprise for the bachelor (who is obsessed with Lambos) and we skipped the karting. This was MUCH more fun! Anyway, it was a huge surprise for him and enjoyed the heck out of it.

 

Awesome pics. Looks like you had a great time. I love the Countach, but the wheels on that Diablo look completely out of place don't you think?

 

That's what I get for trusting the iphone GPS...

02/03 first-gen Murci wheels work better on the Diablo. LP640 wheels may be going a bit far. It's more striking in the pics though than it is in person. It's really not too bad. Might look better if the car were silver.
