Nice install! I believe some of the other installs put it inside a headrest or something and wire the unit to the mirror.

It depends on which car the system is installed on and the preference of the owner. Common options include installing the V1 inside a headrest or custom enclosure we fabricate, this will disable laser alerts (which aren't effective anyway). Some people put the V1 in the front grill inside a weatherproof enclosure - this preserves forward laser and radar alerts but disables any rear alerts. The most common solution is installing the V1 where forward and rear radar is preserved and a separate laser jammer is used for protection from Lidar.

We're happy to provide recommendations for specific vehicles upon request.
