Supercars in the Aussie Outback (56k beware)

It might not be a super car but it and the driver sure drove the hell out of that thing. He was also the only one who didn't get there on a truck, drove 7000kms there and back from his home. Respect!

I've seen that 458 a couple of times around Bulimba/Lyton Road in Brisbane. I cruised up next to it one morning and took a photo and the passenger gave me the finger lol.
Great photos mate, looked like an awesome trip.
The e46 M3 is still around $70,000 here in Aus. It's not a supercar but it's a great sports car for sure.

I loved driving my one, gave a hard charging Gallardo driver something to think about on a local twisty road, of course when the road straightened 500 HP of V10 power sorted me out!

Actually, that's an average figure. If Jan (FFOUR) and I wanted to travel to Bathurst to watch the race, it would be 3800km each way.
I've done the Perth to Bathurst run with a couple of people. Even at Australia's stupid highway speed limit (110km/h) it took 38hrs non-stop - well, non-stop if you don't include toilet, fuel and food breaks.
Our home state of Western Australia takes 32hrs non-stop to run from north to south (yes, done that, too).
