Here in Illinois we are required to have a front plate (Boo!). Once a guy at the track with a Corvette told me he got pulled over for not having a front plate. He tells the cop, sure I do. He asks where, so he takes him to the back of the car, and he has both plates layered on top of each other. Cops laughs and says get out of here!

So that's what we do; both on the rear!
