Anyone driven a manual LP560?

Wondering if anyone can give me an insight into driving a manual LP560? Easy to drive, light or heavy clutch?

Probably test driving one later this week but can't find any reviews.

Haven't driven a manual in 4 years and it's quite an intimidating prospect.

Thanks.

JLMIAMI is an unknown quantity at this point
probably one of my favorite transmissions relatively heavy clutch but definately for the better, the gated shifter makes it a breeze though, you will definately enjoy

Everyone I am speaking to it saying different things, maybe just different cars etc.

Lambo are saying the clutch is very light, everyone else is saying heavy.

In general its heavy compared to other cars, my Gallardo is heavier then the E92 M3 I daily drive, as well as compared to a Toyota Supra or Porsche 996TT - all of which I've got a vast experience driving

If you're looking at buying a manual you had better love it - there's no second hand market for them here, dealers literally can't shift them, pun intended.

I personally love heavy clutch, like the GT2 and the E36 M3 that I had.

I hated, hated the feather light clutch of the 996 Turbo, and hope that if I ever end up getting a lambo, that it has a properly heavy clutch.

Do you prefer light clutch for a reason?

Good to hear.

I was going to spec the M3 sedan with DCT for this reason, I hate light clutches, and the E9x M3 clutch is so light you can practically look at it and it will go to the floor. But the mrs insists on manual because she thinks these flappy gearboxes are too much like playing video games.

The 996 Turbo super light clutch sucks donkey balls, and was a pain to drive whenever I was passing through San Francisco on my way to Sears Point or Napa. The heavy GT2 clutch made hill start so simple and drama free.

That's what I'm thinking, but it's more a case of there not being any decent spec E-Gear cars around at the moment.

This car is perfect spec except for the manual box. Plus it's so cheap compared to E-Gear cars, for a reason obviously.

The salesman has told me he worked at Porsche for 20 years and this car's clutch is lighter than a 911. Hope so cause if it's heavy I'm not buying.

How are you enjoying your LP anyways? Would you say the front lifting is essential driving around town etc?

There's loads of great spec E-gears around, what are you talking about?

Clearly price is a factor in any purchase but your dad will prefer the e-gear as it suits the car. I would only go for a manual in the LP550-2. The manual 560's that are on the market have been available for almost a year - it's resale suicide so you pops will have to adore it if he goes for it.

Front Lift is a lifesaver here in London.

Not at a decent spec and price point. I'm looking at 09 cars anyways.

My dad? The cars for me. Cool, the car I'm going to see has front lift but the E-Gear car doesn't.
