Hello everyone

I put down a deposit for one of the first lambo aventador to be delivered from the factory. the car was supposed to be delivered in may but it has been delayed to june so i had no problem because i want the car in london for my summer trip but now there is another big delay and i have been waiting for this car for a long time now. Whey the hell lambo have built dozens of aventadors in yellow, white, orange and black and letting magazines, driving them and the still dont deliver anything to customers here is the email i got.



Regarding delivery delay ...

Unfortunately I still have no info from the factory, I can tell you but that will delay the vehicles, worldwide. There are problems with the brakes.

We still wait for a written confirmation from the factory so we can reassure our customers and you do not lose faith in us.

Our demo car should have come in May / June, now we get the car probably only in August, is also a world-wide problem ..

So it not only meets our customers to delay the delivery time but it affects all customers.

Once we have accurate information I will forward you this once.

those italians can build a nice vehicle, but they sure do suck at everything else in the business

what date are you going to be in london and what is the estimated delivery date of the car over there?
hope you can break the engine in on UK highways

So the brakes are the reason for the world wide delays. I did not expect that from Aud... ehh Lamborghini. What a nightmare for all customers who were expecting the car this summer, and obviously for Lambo too who need to satisfy all their pissed off customers
Let's hope you get the car soon.

 

On some other sites I have been saying this for over a month, and no one would believe me.

They would call their Dealer and be re-assured the car was in production..oh well sorry to hear this for you but the fact is:

First customer cars wont hit the streets till late September or early October. It's a few other things then just the breaks.

FYI, the "Demo" cars we see running around for the Magazines, etc etc..they are not even fully complete..none of the have the wiring harness for heated or electric seats as well as a few other electrical issues that they are resolving as well.

 

I'm pretty sure no one will get it this summer, mostly Autumn or Winter. The one's arriving here are in January and a friend of mine will get the first batch to arrive here.
