u guys are right, i would still say ferrari gt models behave better on long distances, also they offer more space, i' ve driven a gallardo just shortly, but i honestly cannot imagine to travel in it, there isnt even space for one suitcase, despite that ferraris arent that much better

so now, to make another controversial statement: ferraris always with f1 gearbox (the newer ones), gallardos always e-gear, except TT-charged ones^^ and murcis all the way manual!

 

I sold the 2011 SL White one, but still have available a 6 speed 2011 SL Black one...

 

Lambos and Ferrari's are like HSV vs FPV here in Australia.
FPV will always give the HSV a competetion but the HSV always comes ontop - same as the Lambo and Ferrari, the Lambo always has a answer to Ferrari regardless what it is, V12 or a 10 cylinder. Lambo just has something a Ferrari doesnt - both cars arent really made for luxury long trips etc you want something like that go buy a BMW 7 series or a Merc.
Both cars are amazing but the Lambo just comes up ontop. Simply has a big sign saying LOOK AT ME. Comes down to personal opinion especially if your a car enthusiast but if your just another person, im sure the Lambo will catch someones eye more than a Ferrari especially when you rock up at a club etc and you open your lambo doors

I drove an Alpina B7 from Vegas to SLC last year and it was one of the most enjoyable road trips I've ever been on.

My Lamborghini would not be fun on that trip...not to mention I can't fit four sets of golf clubs and four grown adults in the car.

 

I have always asked myself this, if I had the disposable cash to get an exotic car, what would it be

I am pretty sure my next car will be a Porsche simple because of the price, but hopefully not too long after that, I'll be in the market for my first big purchase

I truly believe that they are both great cars, and it all comes down to a matter of personal preference, but IMO, I find that lambo has something a ferrari simply does not, and I can't quite put my hand on what that it

if I had a chance in getting an LP670SV, I would without a question, that car is everything I would ever want if I had to pick ONE car, the looks, the lines, the design and the sound are absolutely brilliant

not saying that some ferrari cars don't make me go crazy, the 599GTO, while a completely different car, is a car I'd love to own, but if I had to only pick one, I'm pretty sure it'll be a lambo

between car enthusiasts, there will always be rivalry, just glad there is a place like topspeed where owners and non owners can express their opinion and be civilized about it, in other forums, this thread will go BAD faster than you'd imagine

BTW, Roy, I am truly jealous of the 2011 SL 6spd as well as the awesome LP670SV, enjoy them in the best of health
