Why I DO Lamborghini's
#11
I think the 250 lusso was a road car from Maranello and not a track special. Moreover, aren't Chryslers supposed to be comfortable
ironically the diablo is my favorite Lamborghini. The main thing a supercar would have to do, for me to purchase it, is move me by it's beauty and sound; I could care less about tenths of a second. Thus I don't pigeon hole myself into any specific brand. That being said, more ferraris have done that for me, but I would take a diablo over any Ferrari of the 90s (f50 was a special run, doesn't count

Can I be the party-pooper?
That was a long time ago.
They're now corporate products trying to emulate (more or less successfully) what we imagine their ancesters were.
Lambo's capitalizing on the badass Miura and Countach ... yet still mr health&safety lurking with AWD and flappy paddles.
Ferrari ... well ... what else do I need to say other than "F1 F1 F1 F1 F1 Red Red Red Red F1 F1 F1 Red F1 Red Red Red".
Not saying they aren't great cars, because they are. They're just not quite as uncompromised as they would like us to believe.
Just saying the original passion and quirkiness has gone a bit, and that niche has been filled by a few newcomers.

Ferrari's racing history and heritage are the primary reasons I love the marque. I find the cars thrilling, elegant and mechanically mesmerizing. I also find most Ferrari owners to be pretty secure in their decision to purchase one. The maintenance issues are largely a myth and can be almost totally avoided by finding a quality independent mechanic that you can trust. The cars are very comfortable - both on track and for long drives. That is why I own one and will continue to invest in Ferrari.
I have nothing against Lamborghini. I think that they are very extreme and a bit over-the-top but that is just me. I am not out to bash the marque. I often get a rush when I see a nice Gallardo or hear that Murci V12. But - to me - Lambos just don't arouse the same type of passion in me that Ferraris do. But - in the end - It is almost entirely personal preference and totally subjective.
I suppose the only real knock I have on Lambo is that Lambo owners often find it necessary to justify their ownership by putting down Ferrari.
Just sayin'.
