It's ok Roy, only 14 years to go until it's 25 years old and you don't need any Show & Display anymore.

Sucks to see them go, but as long as it's to a good home that will preserve them while enjoying them, it's all good

 

Not exactly correct..the 25 year rules have changed a bit..the car at age 25 may still come in and not meeting EPA emissions standards..like the DD countach etc etc..

But cars after produced after 1990, even at 25 years..will still have to meet DOT SAFETY standards in effect for that year of production in the USA..i.e. bumpers, air bags etc etc..

and the Euro produced GT does NOT meet those standards as well as the EPA standards..so it would be ok in 25 years for EPA but NOT for DOT..

It is gone for good.

 

With such low miles, I would think it has its orginal tires on it..IMO and a lot of others, tires for super cars are unsafe after 6 years..so I would check the date code on the tires and get new correct dated tires for starters.

Verde still got my vote...with CF OEM spoiler black wheels and matching verde calipers...oh my i just died and went to heaven.
