It's the new "thing" to do. I personally would never buy a matte car, ever. I think it looks like shit and as if it's an unfinished paint job. Sure, people shit buckets over "Nero Nemesis", but I think it looks like ass. I'll take gloss over it, or that gunmetal.

I totally agree- however, even though it looks great I wouldn't want to be seen driving it with matte. I absolutely think it's something that has become an automotive standard it seems like- what happened to the glossy? metallic? or pearl for that matter? I can't believe that a) people would choose matte on a car to begin with. b) manufacturers making matte their primary color of choice at auto shows, etc... and c) why would you choose matte again?... sigh

The murdered out look to me ruins the appearance value, people don't have "class" anymore as much when it comes to cars

If I'm not mistaken, there are an insane amount of pictures of the Aventador in balloon white. I know for a fact the pictures in Italy when the car was shown to the public, it was balloon white, gloss and matte white looks OK, but the matte black pisses me off.

That's like a very metallic version of Corvette's Supersonic Blue Metallic. I think that in a pearly color would look nice. A slightly darker shade of VI pearl would be awesome. And something similar to Monterey Blue as well. I hope they don't disappoint in terms of color. But I agree, so tired of freakin' white/black.
