It's funny that you say this. Just shows how much perspective comes into play. While I agree that the car could be more extreme, from my perspective the first-gen Murci (02-06) and the last-gen Diablo (6.0) look very much alike. The Murci is missing Gandini's door "swoop", but to me the Murci is a blend of Diablo 6.0 and first-gen Countach (when the VACS intakes are closed, anyway).

This new car, to my 2-D understanding of it (having not seen it in person yet) looks about 35% Murci, 25% Gallardo, and 40% something new.

The added width of the new model should really help it stand apart. Should be interesting driving though. I already feel like I watch my mirrors a lot to check lane width in the Murci!

The car in the Autogespot images looks a shit ton better than the red car.

Still can't get over that the design looks like a bunch of 12 year old kids drew a car with a straight edge and pencil as the only tools on available.

 

If I didn't knew any better, I'd say it looks a lot like the gallardo lp560 from this angle.
I like it much more in red.

Stunning car nonetheless. (I'd kill the Queen of England for this car :P, metaphorically speaking...)

OMG OMG OMG OMG it looks AMAZING in the second and third pics. I'm really beginning to dig it. Interior should be pretty sick. Can't wait to see pics of that.
