Considering the new carbon-fiber frame, pushrod suspension, engine and transmission, I don't think I really care what it looks like. This is a clear focus on dynamics as much as style - should be awesome!

In regards to the Gallardo successor, I dont think it will be out this quick. I am going to say 2013 maybe because of the fact that lamborghini keeps bringing out varients of the G and last word I heard they were going to make an LP550-2 (Not Balboni) as the new entry-level Gallardo.

^^^ Standart LP550-2 was launched last fall as a MY11 model. There could be few special version everyone getting tired from during this year trying to boost sales even for a bit. But the G-successor is likely to due in Geneva 2012. Seems that this model will be really rushed forward because of very serious competition.

Well the reason why I say that is because Autoblog just reported about the LP550-2 thing like a week ago. I have heard things about an LP550-2 for a while now though. Anyways, returning to the LP700-4. I will be a very good flagship for Lamborghini. My favorite car is the Murcielago, and it looks like it's successor will be good.
I'm really hoping the successor will arrive at Geneva 2012.
Ferrari is going strong with the Italia, and McLaren is almost literally destroying competition left and right with the MP4-12.

Let's hope they put some of these parts to use around a track. It's one thing to have them, but another to test them. This car could change the image of the flagship!
