Hey guys.
I’ve been reading here behind the scenes for awhile so I could figure out what the best year of car would be to pick up with my long term plans (or short if I can convince the S.O)being a TT set up. I have not decided who to use yet. In Canada there is an abundance of 04’s, not many 05 or 06’s, and after that the pricing is way out of line compared to the U.S, and the headache of importing one is not worth the time. So what I’m asking is: what is the major difference and if going the TT route, is the year important? It’s my understanding that things like the rear view camera and lift system can be retro fitted and the Egear issues have been resolved by a flash and some parts. The main thing for me is comfort and handling.

Unfortunately I personally don't have any info to help you out on which year is the ideal TT setup, but there are a couple guys on here with TT gallardos and hopefully they will chime in soon enough.

 

ZR auto in Calgary have 2 ttg's for sale one is really nice the other is cheap bur has a story.

 

the 2 ZR ones are the ones im thinking of, and there is also one in Quebec

Yeah your right i completely forgot about that one, I actually met the owner this year at the Canadian GP when the ZR crew brought out their cars, nice guy. Didn't know he owned a pizza place though haha

 

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few more ttg's in alberta and bc. There's a tt murci in Vancouver
