Yep I got that right, It is too early for a SV, as claimed another place...

 

Bang on the money ... the SV came at the end of the Murciélago production, just like on the Miura ... however with the Diablo the SV came out within 5 years of the intial model, to stay in production for about 4 years.

So you never know, but I think the production for the Aventador LP700-4, Aventador Roadster and now the Aventador LP720-4 puts enough strain on the capacity already ... so I don't think an SV will get introduced any time soon ... all focus is now on the new V10 model.

 

What I know is that there isn't any update for the my2014 on power, but what they will upgrade would be in these subjects.

I am walking on a thin line. Meaning that I always need to be aware of what info I can post and what I can't.

But what I CAN reveal is that there has been quite a few discussions as if they should upgrade the Aventador to 720 HP, as an answer to the Ferrari F12berlinetta.

Only a mere handfull know the real answer, but as I said "don't be too surprised"..... It is coming sooner or later. ONLY question is if it is going to be MY'14 or MY'15.

 

I don't know if I might come or not, wife will be delivering in October Inshallah so this years summer travel might not happen.

If they do make the 720hp aventador it would really be a problem and a waste to honestly buy the 50th anniversary, when there isn't a difference. Why is Lamborghini moving to fast with the upgrades on the aventador, they already want to release the sv version on 2015, and the anniversary roadster should be announced in a couple of months or week, and delivery in first quarter of 2014 or end of 2013.

 

it will end up the same as the Gallardo, feels you've always got into the old car, understand a face lift, spec upgrade mid life as Porsche do with the 911, but how many different models do you need!

These anniversary editions are always a waste to buy IMO. Buy a standard and modify it exactly like YOU want.
