Where is the Murcielago's OBDII port?

Does anybody know where the OBDII port is for the LP640?

I have this damn irritating airbag light that comes on from time to time. All the dealer does is clear the code each time I take it in and then the car is fine for a few months.

It's a recurring thing, but doesn't affect how the car drives at all.

I was looking at buying this neat gadget, has anybody had any experience at all?
Amazon.com: GL1 (formerly goLINK) OBD-II to iPhone/iPad/iPod touch by GoPoint Technology: Electronics

I could just clear the codes myself via my phone, instead of driving 100 miles to the dealer each time.

But a 100 mile drive in an LP640 is so much fun!

I could just take it for you I suppose, be there in 5?

It is, but doing it 10-15 times since delivery of the car does get a bit repetitive.

That stretch of road can only be so interesting

It might be different for Lambos since they're built in such small numbers but in the US, all cars built after 1996 must have the OBDII port located under the dash just below the steering wheel, if I'm not mistaken.

I'd love to take a look and find out for you but I don't have any LP640's handy.

I'd say get a flashlight and take a look under the steering wheel. Oh, and try posting this question on lambopower if you haven't already.

You need a OBDII diag tool

it's a wire paralle to usb

beware about protocol
around 2000 => k-line
around 2003 => l-line
after => CAN BUS

the airbag light must says ECU have a problem and the error code can give you the solution.

Mike S with a flashlight under the steering wheel
Come on Alex, Sir Mike S will hire a team to hold a few mirrors the a flashlight so he can find the port while smoking a cigar on his favorite chair out on the pool deck...
