I'm glad that Lamborghini actually stuck to their guns when they said they were going to be focusing on lighter materials for their vehicles to improve performance instead of going for more and more power. It's a lot more work to make a car like this than it would've been to just make a bigger engine.
My jury is still out on the looks but I'm going absolutely batshit crazy for the technology they've packed into this one car.
For instance, I love the ultra spartan interior with the carbon fiber skeleton exposed. I know that probably won't make it to production but it's awesome to think that it might be under the dash skin. Also, the use of CF in the wishbones in the suspension is a play right out of F1! Oh man! I love that! CF wheels would be awesome too although I'm not sure how well they'd work anywhere other than on the track.
What I'm saying is that this is EXACTLY the route that all supercar makers should be following from here on out.
That all being said, I'm not a fan of what they did with the engine cover. Looks like a rip-off of the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport and doesn't flow with the rest of the body panels.
