Thanks a lot Saudi. Your write-up is simply amazing, thanks for spending a bit of your time to share the impressions with us. Thanks one more time.
I agree about the front - may be its a bit busy with lots of sharp lines. I hope they will offer CF options for exterior - car would look ever more insane with them.
So are you ordering one?

Happy you like it as I have spent a quite of quality time looking and inscpeting each side and still other stuff I did not include like the two vents in the hood similar to the SV ... the design got lots of details .... loooooooooots of details that you need to spend time trying to see them. I believe this is the direction now for Lambo after they started it with the Reventon which to use lots of sharp angles & lines .... but simply look to the pencil sketch pic ... its 95% the Aventador

Great write up, thanks a lot!!!

The new car makes the SV look a little dated IMO

Thats exactly what I wanted to say

In regards to the sketch posted by Carrara:
- The side vents are spot on
- Wheels are 19" (255/35) front | 20" (335/35) back
- Front bumper looks like an updated reventon bumper
- Rear doesnt have a fixed wing, the wing raises at a certain speed with 9 degree tilt, and at higher speeds tilts to 11 degrees.
I was in bahrain for the preview of the car, I flew in from the UAE just to see the car then fly back along with 3 of my friends.
First impression when they first removed the covers from the car was that the car looked like a 2011 concept car that has its design features coming from the reventon, Estoque, and some Siesto Elemento in the mix. The car was gloss white with gloss black wheels. When you step back, looks like a updated concept LP640, parts of it were over the top, parts were elegant and subtle; the way the mixed it up and gave us this car is truly astounding.
The side intakes are huge, and the door is sculpted in a way that channels air into those huge openings. Door handle is a positive improvement than the previous LPs its like the corvettes push button handle but hidden horizontally in the sculpted part of the door. When you see it you'll know what I mean.
Rear of the car was my favorite part of the exterior, the brake lights look similar to the estoque, hard to describe the rear now that I think of it.
3 Lines travel from the front of the car to the rear along the bonnet roof and rear section, If you see pictures of the siesto elemento you'll know what I mean.
If you think the exterior is an improvement, the interior is exponentially better than previous interiors in any lamborghini; I'm not saying this as a scientifically proven fact, I'm saying this because as soon as I sat in the car, I realized that the set up and the controls for everything were intuitive and can be picked up easily, nothing confusing, everything is straight forward, and the start/stop button was covered with a flap a la press here to shoot missile but only if you are sure. The Steering wheel FINALLY looks suitable for a supercar, I always had an issue with the murcielago steering wheels, gallardo ones were much better; they solved that issue and even placed some controls on the steering wheel, the paddle shifters are much better than the e-gear ones, you can press it from many different steering positions.
speaking of daily use features, Car has front and rear sensors + rear camera, lowest setting in the gearbox makes the car shift like an automatic transmission, cd + memory card + usb thing is beside your right knee, for your music and stuff, keyless entry and keyless start (btw the key looks awesome); you can drive this car every day without any complaints of having to "put up" with something. Seats were electrically adjustable and comfortable.
Saudi Ferrari, I hope you enjoyed that day as much as I did. A very special event. Revving that engine felt so rewarding :P

Thanks for the great write-up. Seems you really enjoyed this event. On the pics it also looked like it has bits from Reventon, Estoque and Sesto Elemento, but when enjoying the looks further it looks like an amazing all-new supercar.

Edit: Just a notice, they said It's not going to be called Aventador
