If this is to be the name, I think it has the right sound to it in English, but the meaning in Spanish is totally uninspirational. I can't find any link to bullfighting either.
The evidence looks undeniable but maybe we have jumped the gun?

Aventador? It sounds good on English. Anyways the only famous bull i could find with its name starting from A is Avispado (A bull that killed a matador in 1984) Aborrecido, Avioncito (It means little plane) but i doubt that will be the names... Although Avispado sounds good

I also thougt Avispado was a possible name, but as Avispado killed a matador in fairly recent times (1984), it may be in bad taste for Lamborghini to name a car after him. Islero, who also killed a matador, was ancient history....

Yeah but Reventon also killed a matador, too at those times, and they named a car after it...

Checked for more details, confirmed that official name starting from letter "A", but they refused to reveal full name again, not to spoil the relations. Judging that Lamborghini trademarked name Aventador, it could be right one, but honestly speaking it doesn't work for me for some reason. I will ask again, may be I will be able to hint later.

Aborrecido is out of the question - it means "abhorrent, loathsome; detestable, hateful; boring"
Despite being trademarked by Lamborghini, Aventador is not related to bullfighting, so that leaves Avispado or Avioncito. Avispado seems unsuitable for reasons already stated, and Avioncito's meaning doesnt to fit with the car, its too cute.
Someone on F-Chat who attended the presentation says he thought the matt black car looked "100% Reventon copy", and adds that the car received a mixed response from attendees.
