Superleggera seat question.

Hi all, new member here but I've been checking out the forum for a few weeks as I'm due to take delivery of the new SL in a couple of weeks, the info and pictures on here has been awesome so far.

The question I have is how much do you think the sports seats that come as standard are worth? I'm having them changed for electric seats and Lamborghini is offering me £1000 for them. On top of that I'm wondering if anyone knows of anyone who would be interested in them once they are out?

Can't wait for the car to arrive as the write ups it's been getting on here sound awesome. I'l stick some pics up when it's here too.

thanks

Matt

I'll give you a large pan of figgy pudding and a few pints of your choice for those seats.

I would store the lightweight seats until you come to sell the car. Although it may not be too big of an issue for you personally not having the lightweigh seat might hurt the resale value/make it harder to sell privately.

If you really want to sell them, £1000 sounds far too cheap to me. I've heard rumors of a guy buying a pair of LP670 SV seats direct from Lambourghini GB for approx £7500!!

Not sure how true that is though?

Oh and congrats on an awesome machine

The seats are made by Sparco and are very close to the " chrono sport" model they offer to the public. I would hold on to them for sure in case you end up wanting them down the road. If nit you could probably sell them privately for good $$

you'll have mismatch interior if you get leather seats. does the harness have power for the power seats? doesn't sound like it's worth it but it is your car. also, power seats are higher so if you are tall and want to track it, i'd check for height clearance.

Thumbs up

Ok, thanks for the advice, as I suspected the seats are worth much more than I'm being offered. It had crossed my mind to keep them, just a matter of where to store them, suppose they could go in the lounge for the ps3!

The seats will be in alcantara with white stitching so no miss match but thanks forj the heads up about the height difference. The car is white by the way, there is already a photo of it in the photo thread, it's the hr Owen ex-demo with the evil number plate but that's getting changed for a pretty good dvla plate I got, LP57 LEG, any thoughts? I thought not bad for £250!

Cheers again.

Matt

Congrats on the car! I got mine last week and love it!

I'd also hang on to the seats for resale time
