How much did u pay for that lens if u don't mind me asking? And is it much better than the standard 18-55?

I paid $275 shipped from amazon which included a UV filter and cleaning kit. I've read that at 18mm it's not as sharp as the 18-55mm but I needed some more zoom for my walk-around lens. I can't really tell TBH. I bought this because I'm planning on picking up a 35mm 1.8 AF-S in a few weeks and a 70-200m 2.8 a little down the road.

That being said, I have a mint, 4 month old Nikkor 18-55mm kit lens for sale. PM me if interested
