Not sure if anyone already mentioned this but GTSpirit has an article on the Jota today saying this:
The Romanian website Automarket.ro has unveiled more information about the upcoming replacement for the Lamborghini Murciélago. The next generation 2011 Lamborghini Murciélago has been discussed before and named under the development name Jota.
The new version is rumoured to have a top speed of 360km/h (225mph). The vehicle uses a 7.0 liter V12 engine developing between 700 and 720hp connected to a four-wheel drive system and seven-speed double-clutch transmission.
The Italian manufacturer will focus on a lower mass than the current version improving the power to weight ratio to 0.46hp/kg. Sprint times from 0 to 100km/h are estimated under 3 seconds.
The interior will be trimmed in carbon and Alcantara. It will include a hi-tech satellite navigation system and a jet-style head-up display.
Rumours also suggest an official debut at the Paris Motor Show 2010 in October.
Stay tuned for more!
Sadly I don't believe Lambo will use a double clutch since every other source points in the other direction but it gives me a little hope

Does anyone know if their decision not to use a DCT is purely based on weight?

The base price will be lower..as items that were standard in the past will now become options..this will also be the same with the 2011 Gallarod..
Example...
glass bonett will now be an option...with LED light package ONLY
Front lift system as well, with several types of suspension, will be an option

I hope this is not what the Jota will look like. From the render I see a bit of Murciélago, Gallardo, LP Series, Estoque and a toned down Reventon. I'm sorry but this is a mess. I was hoping to see the new Lambo to be diffrent. Like Ferrari did with the 430 to the 458 and the Diablo was different to the Murciélago, you couldn't see the similarites between the two.

According to the latest rumors Murcielago successor will not have traditional scissor door. Doors will go up of course, but in a bit different way - from the start to the side and then up. Not a copy of any doors from other supercars, but still not traditional L-doors. Also there is such rumors that DCT gearbox is also in the development, not sure about credibility, but still such rumor exists.

I guess that's because they use the new carbon tub + frameless doors. Traditional Lambo doors cannot be frameless...
