Heffner Twin Turbo Lp560-4 Featured In Car And Driver Magazine!
#1
A few months back we shipped our first Twin Turbo LP560 up to Michigan to give the guys at Car and Driver Magazine a chance to test it out. I went up to meet with them and observe as they spent the entire day weighing, photographing and driving the LP. We spent the better part of the day driving around town so they could get the feel for the car. After they were satisfied with this we headed over to the Chrysler proving grounds where they proceeded to perform skidpad testing, braking and acceleration testing which lasted nearly three hours! This would be the fifth car that we have had tested by the guys at Car and Driver and I have to say that I have never before seen them so excited about a car. After the first run the editor came back, ripped his helmet off and began shouting explicit words in an excited manner. What a great trip. Enjoy the article.

Thanks guys. I fixed the first post. For some reason the first page of the article didn't show up the first time. The guys at C&D are very scientific about testing the cars they write about and I agree that it's great to see the numbers on the TT Car and how they compare to other cars that the same people have tested.
We have no plans for a RWD conversion. The one we did for the 0-200-0 shootout was done because we needed to run a taller rear tire to hit 200. The appropriate front tire was not available so we yanked the driveshaft. Unfortunately we only had about two days notice to get that car ready because it was not originally supposed to be in the test.
