cfdrumr is an unknown quantity at this point
the only thing that would make you cooler was if you held onto the car for 6 months and sold it to me for as much as I can afford.

Congrats.

^^ He doesn't have VI does he?? Anyways, congrats. Those are epic cars, just wondering why two have two, are you going to store one away, or sometimes it would be easier to rock E-Gear instead of going manual? You truly have a spectacular collection!

The VI one JUST got delevired here in Seattle to a friend of mine, Tommy. The car is just stunning...will make for a great photo op when we get all three together, probably sometime in the late February 2010.

Hey like some one told me the other day

Why not have two..if you found one hot sister and the other one came into play...wont you have both them as well..?

^^ Ohh I agree, I am not questioning, I was just wondering if you had a reason like you wanted to rock Egear on the way to work and MT on the weekends. I, like you, think that this is the last big, bad muri, huge engine growl, etc lambo. The new ones will be good, but I think they are going to be a shift in mentality. ENJOY!

Now I can share that I was moderately surprised that Roy’s blue SV with have E-gear and yet he has told me that he enjoys both and then I can also share based on my personal experience that the software programming and hardware used has the E-gear system within the LP670-4 SV as no other Lamborghini that I have driven; phenomenal is the only word that comes to mind.

With regards to the “times they are changing” IMO there is no doubt and yet the changes over time have all been good for Lamborghini and with the great success of the Gallardo the ability for Lamborghini/Audi to further develop their extreme gal’s would seem a very viable situation.

Now having said this I too think that the LP670-4 SV is likely the last of the in your face extreme, visceral and to some degree raw gals to come out of the Lamborghini factory. As the result of direct port injection (albeit with its own issues), the sophisticated programming created today mega horsepower is able to be created as the gals spit out water vapor however this is typically seen in as a calculated number at the higher RPM ranges because torque likes/needs and wants fuel which is the product they will no longer IMO freely feed her, this will be the situation even if it were financially prudent to create another in your face raw gal because those behind the scenes often referred to as the Green Peace crowd etc would make life politically unstable for the likes of Audi hence Lamborghini. As a simple example the Murcielago and the LP670-4 SV use all of the fuel that you toss their way and when received as new strategically placed there is upon their windshield for all to see and ultimately remove; a predominantly placed green decal/sticker that shows on a scale of 1-10 how environmentally friendly the LP670-4 SV is with 10 being the friendliest; these gals were rated as a 1.

Certainly I expect more extreme looks, high horsepower to remain, and greater use of lightweight materials as the new breed of Lamborghini gals subtly begin the process of directing Lamborghini to the next level of exotic gals with each one becoming more of a conforming production car as such losing much of their flavor aka character which IMO can be seen and felt today within each gal because there remains with them a part of the team that dreamed of, designed, and then created them through the process often referred to as sweat equity.

In closing IMO Lamborghini did a stellar job of completing the Murcielago family with the LP670-4 SV, a project that began when things were financially strong as such a worldwide cap of 350 gals were to be created; a number that they felt certain would leave many disappointed however sadly by the time that the gals were presented worldwide those initially willing to write the check did not show which could not be better evidenced than in the USA where Lamborghini anticipated a number greater than 150 to be standing in line as such they allocated 150 or so to come to the USA whereas in the end fewer than 20 people came to the proverbial party with a resulting worldwide a number far less than 350 created.

This had to be an extreme eye opener and cause for concern within Lamborghini/Audi and has certainly IMO set the stages for how the next extreme Lamborghini offering is evaluated.

Takes care

Shadowman
