Let me tell you that this new car from rumors in the factory I've heard is going to be one of the most uncompromising super cars out. For those who have experienced the change from the 08' Gallardo to LP560, you will be blown away by the technology and performance they through in this car. The 640 is well in need of a facelift with some punch behind it. Will keep you up dated on new info!

One little correction also, LP640 is a brilliant supercar, but it is really in need to be replaced, not of a facelift and its successor everyone is waiting for now will be brand new car, built from the clean sheet in all dimensions. And yes, every single source tells now that this car is going to be perfect supercar and incredible move forward for Lamborghini in all dimensions - looks, performance, technology, style, aerodynamics and interior.

 

Well, as with everything coming in the future, it will always be surronded with rumors..

However, this I will 99.5% stake my name on..

1) Yes, will be not shown till March 2011 at the auto show...with first public delivery cars ready for delivery in May/June 2011.

2) It will be a ORDER only car, no production with out order. More concentration will go the the G car as far as production for stock at Dealers. There is a larger profit margin in the G cars.

I do think the next 2-3 years for Lambo will throw it into the "Exclusive" super car world...well exceeding ANYTHING Ferrari can offer in the same price range.

 

Great information Roy, you are amazingly great Lambo enthusiast, my respect to you. I really hope that CF chassis, weight saving, active aerodynamics and 700 hp are really in the works. Seems that this Lamborghini will be only proper supercar in this price segment with both Enzo successor and Pagani C9 are set to be priced much more higher.
