If the the other cars were parked, a defensive driving course wouldn't have helped this guy. Maybe he was hungover, on the phone, staring at some girls walking down the street, etc.

2 factors: the car itself inspires a little more aggressive driving. Why have 500+ hp if you are going to accelerate slowly, take turns easily, etc? Second, it's not that they crash so much more, but that it's documented because the cars are special. Camrys and Accords get into accidents everyday, but it's no big deal.

Trying to find a parking space can be a frustrating business in some cases. But we doubt it is a good decision to park your £140,000 Lamborghini Gallardo underneath a Saab people mover. The crash happened in the Hollywood Hills, California. The Gallardo slid right under the two-ton Saab hold up pretty well.
