GoPro HD Motorsports Hero Camera/Camcorder

> We considered selling the Contour, but [...]
I bought my ContourHD from Amazon, for just under $330, and it did come
with a flat surface mount, mount adhesive, as well as a helmet mount. The
only stuff I ended up buying separately were a cigarette lighter adapter and
a suction cup mount.
> Now the real grand total to invest [...]
The viewing angle of the ContourHD is sufficient for my needs (at 1080p it's
110 deg, versus the GoPro's 127 deg). I selected a ContourHD over a GoPro
for several reasons: aiming lasers, rotating lense, simplicity of use, weight,
form factor, and color of the case. Having the GoPro's take-pics-at-regular-
intervals feature wasn't an issue for me -- for that I can just use my normal
digital compact camera. Last but not least, I did not care about the absolute
lowest price -- in this price range it's not worth my time, and frankly, most
electronic toys are obsolete after a short time anyway.
Both the ContourHD and the GoPro are great little cameras!

> Well like I said to make the ContourHD equal to what you get from
> the GoPro you have to invest $454+.
I listed my reasons for going with a ContourHD: aiming lasers,
rotating lense, simplicity of use, weight, form factor, and color
of the case.
> If you decide you want to try a GoPro let us know and we can take
> care of you.
I tried both, and kept the CountourHD. See above for why.

I will check with my sales rep on Monday about this. We use Quicktime Pro to flip all of our videos currently.
