That is probably the one thing that the Chase Cam system has over the GoPro.

The Chase Cam has a sensor in the recording unit that starts and stops automatically when the car does.

But the Chase Cam is a too expensive.

I have both and will compare picture quality when I get my GoPro out.

From what I have seen, the GoPro has better picture quality.

 

I ordered the camera from the group buy. The quoted price was far lower than I've seen elsewhere, and Ted was very responsive (I've had some issues with my PayPal account, so there was some back and forth to make sure the account was correct). I paid on Sunday night, got the UPS tracking number on Monday, and it was delivered on Tuesday.

I really can't think of any negatives to the buying experience. Great job EVS.
