The dream is dashed and all hope is lost...

Went to the local dealership yesterday. Sat in my dream car, a 2008 Gallardo, convert.

I dont fit!!!! I am at least 3 inches to tall! My head was practically sticking out the top of the car. And the seat all the way down and all the way back and I felt like i was in a matchbox car. This is very depressing.

The sales guy took one look and said no way, get in. Im ready to cry.

Same height as me, and I have a 36" inseam... so sounds like I wouldn't fit either.

I am crushed. And yep, you would stick out the top just like me. Felt very cramped and the top was down, and I can only imagine how it would be in a coupe.

Very depressing really. Not like I was running out tomorrow, but still, it has been an objective of mine!

Well that sucks. Now I wonder about the fit in a Mas Gran Turismo convertible...

Guys, your height is not the issue unless you are really tall, and 6'5" is not REALLY tall.

I am 6'2" and I have problem fitting in an E46 3 series with sunroof in proper HPDE driving position.

The problem is my inseam. At 6'2" with 32" inseam, I barely fit most cars. You can be tall with long inseam and have no issues fitting in 99% of the cars out there. If you are tall and with shorter inseam, that's where the problem comes in.

What about when your legs looks like a grasshopper around the steering wheel with the seat all the way back? That's my problem with small cars.
