Highest mileage supercar ever recorded?

To quote from the Pistonheads thread
It is a shame but it will get fixed. It's in Chartwells, Derby currently having the chassis straightened which should pull the roof straight. Amazing place that, like a huge hospital operating theatre full of exotica being fixed, everyone in white overalls.
It was a customer driving with an instructor but he wasnt even being silly, it was just a combination of circumstances like a greasy track, a horrid damp day and a sh*t load of bad luck.
The insurance is an irrelevance since any claim would have premiums and excess' going through the roof - just no point even considering it. Fortunately we've a bodyshop with ovens etc so the biggest cost will be parts.
Quite tempted to buy the aftermarket bits to make it look like an LP670SV but then again it would'nt be original. Should be done in a couple of months whatever

Thanks for that, hope he gets it back on the road. Always had a soft spot for Simon's old Murcielago, I got to drive it several years ago for my 40th birthday pressie from the wife.

Yea but that's a factory test car, that was rebuilt to factory specs a million times. the Murci here is privately owned.
