As an ex-cop, we used them all the time to get in a car where people locked themselfs in and refuse to come out...and a lot of FD Aid cars carry as well just to rescue people..

Cheap insurance.
That is a very good idea. I would definitely get one of those if i had a murci!

Ouch. I thought there was some safety thing that could unhook the door while being upside down or something. That's quite scary..

Ah, ^^that's the system I read about. Hopefully it won't activate during driving Kind of James Bondish, but without an ejector seat!

... and kinda like the hood on the GT-R that may turn a minor bender into a multi thosuand dollar repair bill if it triggers the door explosion ...

I guess that goes for the Diablo, LP640, Sypker, SLR-Mclaren, Mclaren F1, SLS AMG, Gumpert Apollo, Koenigsegg, etc.

I would take my chances but keep a retractable night stick with me at all times.

ive never had to use one, but im assuming when a car is submerged in water, the power windows wont work.....this would be useful in those situations also.....
