I have read today that über-G can be unveiled till the end of this year with possible premiere of Murcielago successor concept at Geneva auto show 2010. Do not know if it could be true, but sounds amazing.

Wow! Lighter and more powerful. I'd be interested if they can pull it off.

I wonder if Lambo will finally install a dual-clutch for their coming models instead of using their old fashioned E-gear. It doesn't matter how much they try to improve it, it will never be as fast as Ferrari's or Porsche's gearboxes.

DCT could be used for the first time in Murcielago successor, now rumored to be codenamed Jota. Now there are rumors circulation that there are only two option for the Jota transmission - very fast 7-speed e-gear or brand new DCT. Only negative factor for DCT use is weight. That is why Pagani C9 will be equipped with sequental transmission. But lets wait and see, SV or SL version of LP560-4 will likely be equipped with faster e-gear, but Jota is likely to be equipped with DCT transmission.

More power is always good. But phasing the LP-560 out so quickly? It's barely been on sale for, what, a year?

^ The SV/SL does not have to be a phase-out. It will be more extreme and more $ so they will probably sell them alongside each other for at least a year. And they wont be here for 2 years. So there is a 4 year run, just like the earlier G.
