Does anyone know the correct torque setting for the titanium lugs? They are currently set at 90 but I'm not sure if that is too loose or too tight. I believe the regular Gallardo lugs are supposed to be at 100.

Are you sure you have titanium lugs? The US spec SL did not come with them.

I am not but if they are the US lugs they are very light. If they are the US ones, do you know the correct torque setting Ron?

Interesting. Why didn't US cars get the Ti lugs?

Same reason we never get any cool stuff here like oh, factory roll cage in 997 GT3RS MKI, real M3 engine in the E36 M3, recaro seats and ceramic brakes in RS4, etc, and etc.

We buy the most cars and we ge tthe least respect as a market.

The standard specs for torque on the car are 76 ft. lbs. each, which is relatively light. Are they aftermarket wheels? If so they may need to be a bit tighter due to wheel thickness and the required force to hold them on as a result.

This is a question to ask whomever you bought them from. If they can't answer or get you the answer I'd return them. Lug bolts are kind of important to have correct!

Standard bolts are a 14 x 1.5mm thread pitch and need an absolute minimum of 9.5 complete turns past thread engagemet to be safe.

Oh are they ever!

When I bought my E30, I, um, let's just say never bothered to check the lug nuts, and was driving on 1 lug nut holding each of the rear wheels!!!!!

I was saved by that single nut on each wheel and the hub centric wheel design.

Having the right torque for your nuts are extremely important. Remember the Gumball video where some British buy's RS4 Avant's wheel came flying off the car?
