and I understand Lambos will start number all their limited cars with 001 of whatever... as in "this is one car out of X-number" and not "this is the number 1 or 2 or 35 out of X-number"

Yes, all customer SV will have plaque with numbers from 001/350 to 350/350. But there are few prototypes and test cars owned by factory which are not included in the limited production run of 350 cars and have no plaque number.

The numbering thing doesn't seem to work as you'd expect.
With the SV my dealer said you can request a particular number when you order, eg. "I want number 350". It is, of course, a lottery as to which number is on the plaque of the car that is received. I was at the factory in July and they told me around 100 SV's had been made so far, yet on the production line was car with plaque number 170-something. My own car, delivered in July, is number 006. I'm sure number 350 is out there somewhere.
My dealer also has Reventon number 000 in his showroom in case anybody is feeling flush!
