I think the 458 italia is going to surprise us all and completely obliterate the lp560-4.
I still love the lambo, its got a wonderful sound but hate 4-wheel drive sports cars.

They did the same comparison on an episode of Top Gear I was watching today (thank you BBC America!). The LP560 absolutely walked the GT2 over the 1-mile drag. However when it came to the Stig's power laps, the Lambo did a great time, but Clarkson burned the GT2's time because he hates Porsches so much...

Not to spoil it for you incase you havent seen it but in the next episode, if I remember correctly, they reveal that the GT2 did almost the exact same time as the lp560-4. So in a straight line the v-10 helps the Lambo get ahead but on the track they are too close.

I haven't seen it, but I suspected the GT2 was equal or better... Clarkson's review of the 997 Turbo is epic too.

I love the 560 - my wife thinks it's a douchebag car - guess who wins?

Without a doubt the 458 will murder the LP560. I love the 560 but the 458 has 570HP and is a lighter car and much more aerodynamic. Think the 458 has that one

I am not so sure to bet, but I am not so sure about 458 Italia will murder LP560-4, it can be faster, but not that faster. And there is SL version of LP just around the corner, so who knows.

Has anybody been in a 560-4, if you press corsa and enjoy the sound of it blipping you wouldnt want to be in a GT2. I rode in member mak 560-4 the other day, that thing is so comfortable, honestly it felt much better than his previous cars, 997 Turbo and a V8 vantage.
