My first ticket in the SL - read this story (long)

That's just something you will need to get used to.
I got pulled over once and the officer asked me to climb out the car. I questioned why I needed to do that if I was not guilty of any traffic violations. He just kept insisting I climb out so he could search the vehicle.
I just asked, "Did you pull me over to look at the car?" - he then paused for a bit and then nodded his head. I then just responded, "Just could have asked and I would be happy to oblige."
I have many other stories involving the police, but they either want to give you trouble, because you have something they don't. Or they just want to have a closer look without bruising their ego.

no I have no drugs with me,yes this is my car,no this is no fake ID I was born in Germany...etc.

it`s simple just stfu and say Yes Sir,no Sir and behave as if you were in the army at that moment...
that`s the key

I am sorry, but this is so not the way to diffuse the situation. Remember, he's got a badge and a gun, and when he placed you under technical arrest, he owns you.
If you really feel that strongly about it, get a lawyer and fight it. Arguing with someone who you have no leverage over whatsoever is a waste of time and only makes your life more difficult.
And yes, I've gotten all the speeding codes in CA (22348, 22349, 22350, 22348b, and hell, even 23103, sigh), have too many tickets in my younger and dumber days.

I had just swapped the transmission in my truck, I was doing 60-65 (in a 60, kph, not mph) and checking my dash for signs of any issue.
Speed trap cop tells me to stop, come to my window and the dialog goes like this (the attitude he had can not be trancribed, but he was sitting pretty high on his horse, trying so hard to be a tough guy ...)
-"you were doing 73 ..."
-"no"
-"sir I clocked you...."
-"I know how fast I was going I was looking at my speedo you're making it up"
-"sir you're not listening"
-"neither are you, show me the radar"
-"I don't have to, I have no obligation to prove anything to you"
-"how surprising, I'll make stuff up too then, I'll give you a ticket for driving 300kph..."
-"you're not listening to me"
-"I am but you're not, show me proof I was doing 73, you don't have any because I wasn't going that fast"
-"We don't show radar speed because it brings arguing, you were doing 73"
-"no arguing, if you had proof, I'd oblige happily"
-"you are not listening to me"
-"gimme the ticket, make your quota and stop wasting my time"
I don't care about diffusing a situation when a degenerate makes shit up and doesn't have to prove anything before taking your money.

Your garage looks pretty neat and clean. What kind of material was used on the floor of the garage? Another idea for wheels would be OZ wheels because they are cheaper (stock wheels are more than USD$2,500 a piece) and a little bit lighter. Be sure to check out the Matt Black finish with red lettering. Oh! If you ask me I would like to add the stock exhaust is great but you will get used to it in a month (it's pretty quiet if you don't rev the thing above 5,000 rpm). Please PM me if you need anything else. Congrats again on your new ride and go out ride her more or go "DELIVER MORE MAIL".

Believe it or not the garage is just a painted floor that matches the walls. I sweep it out (with my son) a few times a week and when the SL got here I went crazy and mopped the entire garage. I've thought about doing commercial grade vinyl or epoxy but this is probably the easiest to clean.
Anyway, so sorry I haven't called u yet, you can expect a call from me soon. Yesterday put a major damper on my excitement but I'm not going to let it keep me down.
